Privacy Policy
Who we are
This policy explains what Open Panel Health collects, why, and who processes it.
What you give us
The request form collects only these details:
- Specialty: which kind of office to call.
- ZIP code: to find offices near you.
- Preferred times: to check office hours against your schedule.
- Insurance plan name: to ask each office whether it takes your plan.
- Mobile number: to text you your results and contact you about your request.
What we never collect
We never ask for member IDs, birthdates or medical history. Please don't send them to us by email either.
Payment details
You enter your card details on Stripe's checkout page. We don't see or store your card number. Stripe handles payment details, and any other details it asks for at checkout, under its own privacy policy.
Records we keep about your request
- A request ID we generate, and the time you submitted the form.
- Payment and refund status, when each happened, and Stripe's reference IDs for your checkout and payment events.
- Where your request stands (for example in progress, results sent or refund requested), when it is due, and when and how results were sent.
- Whether a record is one of our own tests, so tests aren't counted as customers.
- The offices we checked for you, what each said about your plan, new patients and hours, and which became your matches.
- A history of the actions our team took on your request, with who took each action and when.
- Copies of the messages our automation server passes between our systems, kept so a failed message can be resent.
Who stores or processes it
- Stripe: takes your payment.
- Google: hosts our request log in Google Sheets. This site also loads fonts from Google, so your browser's IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
- Cloudflare: hosts this site and our request database, and provides the site analytics described below.
- Our own automation server: passes request and payment messages between these services.
Texts
We send your results by text to the mobile number you give us, and we text you only about your request.
Site analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they view and how quickly pages load, so we can fix problems and improve the site.
When the analytics script runs, including when you move between pages of this site, it can report the page's hostname and path, the website that referred you, your country, your browser, operating system and device type, and measurements of how quickly the page loaded and responded, including which part of the page was slowest. Cloudflare says it doesn't log the query string (the part of a web address after a question mark).
It doesn't use cookies or local storage. Cloudflare says it doesn't fingerprint visitors or track them across other websites. We see the results as summaries in Cloudflare's dashboard. Cloudflare currently makes the previous six months of analytics available to us.
Cookies and advertising
This site doesn't use advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is the only analytics tool.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as we need them to deliver your results, handle refunds and keep required financial records. Then we delete your contact and request details, and keep only the payment and refund record.
Some copies can remain after that: our database provider keeps a short restore history that clears on its own, earlier versions of our request log can stay in its version history, Stripe keeps its own payment records, and texts we've already sent stay on your phone and with your mobile carrier.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, email us with your mobile number or receipt:
Changes to this policy
